Job Title: Reservation Agent and Dispatcher Company: Location: Duluth, MN Description: Skyline Shuttle is looking for part time reservation agents / dispatchers. Both office positions and work-from-home positions are available. The first shift is 6:45am to 2:15pm, second shift is 2:15pm to 9:45pm. The first shift is an office position during weekdays, all other shifts are work-from-home, but agents should be flexible to cover an occasional office shift or at-home shift should a need arise. Work days are flexible, but all days of the week must be covered and weekend/holiday work will be shared. Approximately 25 hours per week per agent. Office location is in downtown Duluth at the Holiday Center. Job Description: Reservation Agent / Dispatcher performs duties to support the Duluth based transportation service Skyline Shuttle. Duties include handle inquiries from public involving shuttle service and book routine reservations/changes/cancellations; operate personal computer using word processing, e-mail and Internet based programs; use Google maps and other websites to access transportation, travel, or mapping information; interact with drivers to discuss passenger information, vehicle maintenance issues, or road conditions; correspond via email with drivers and other staff. Office staff performs clerical tasks needed to keep the office organized and paperwork in order as well. Required Skills: Successful candidates will have a customer friendly and helpful attitude, ability to multi-task and handle high call volumes at times, strong attention to details, organization skills, excellent computer literacy, and decision making skills. Must be able to provide a suitable telework / home-based work environment (reliable personal computer with high speed Internet access), quiet work space (home office) free from household distractions. Skyline will provide telephone equipment. Preferred Skills: Experience with Customer service, dispatch, scheduling, reservation agent, and/or travel industry experience. Knowledge of Twin Ports area, Twin Cities, communities along I-35, and Minneapolis/St. Paul airport, multi-line telephones, experience with computers, and connecting a home computer network.
