Purpose   To coordinate and dispatch SUPERVALU’s vendors of choice, technicians and/or in house mechanics to SUPERVALU retail store locations on a priority basis to maintain proper store operations. This involves the professional processing of Refrigeration and HVAC alarms with computer software, and dispatching service requests based on the outcome. In addition, this position will be provide technical support for field technicians working with the stores control systems, alarm resolution documentation, and other departmental duties as directed by Operations Manager to support the departments operation. Additionally, this person will be cross-functionally trained in the responsibilities of the Dispatcher I and the HVAC/R Alarm Dispatcher I.     Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities   Dispatcher Sr. ·         Accountable for exceeding all department performance metrics and goals. ·         Person selected will be cross trained in Customer Service and Problem Resolution as a Dispatcher I and an HVAC/R Dispatcher I. Training in computer applications to generate work orders that will successfully dispatch vendors, technicians, and in house mechanics to repair maintenance problems and maintain proper efficient operational order of SUPERVALU’s retail operations. ·         Ensures that all calls for repair and maintenance are handled in a timely fashion. ·         Maintain open communication between the retail store and the vendor technicians or in house mechanics on the estimated time of arrival on priority repair issues. ·         Investigate contact center staff performance issues. ·         Staff coaching and performance improvement. ·         Investigate service issues. ·         Communicate all major problems or concerns to the division Facilities team or the Operations Manager of the Maintenance Dispatch Support Contact Center. ·        Perform additional job duties as assigned by supervisor. ·         Training of dispatchers on all systems and applications. ·         Coach to improve the Maintenance Contact Center with a combination of facility and system upgrades to increase the performance, professionalism and value to the stakeholders. Continue with training and the continued development of contact center associates.   Job Requirements   ·         High School Diploma or equivalent required. ·         Call Center, Customer Service, Grocery Industry, Facilities Management, leadership skills a plus. ·         Ability to prioritize workload and work between several projects/tasks ·         Excellent communications skills and an affinity for working with people ·         Excellent phone etiquette and a clear speaking voice. ·         Team player and builder. ·         Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Avaya/CMS reporting systems and Maximo. ·         Stable work history for 3+ years ·         Positive attitude and enjoy a challenge ·         Must be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays ·         Must be able to work with no supervision and possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail   Physical Environment   ·         Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment. ·         Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal. ·         Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. ·         Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
