Candidate will locate and correct electrical trouble involving such units as overhead transformers, pole top disconnects, generators, motors, transformers, switches, controls, electrical fixtures, circuit breakers and other plant electrical equipment. Runs power supply to plant electrically operated or controlled equipment. May install new electrical equipment. Uses necessary mechanical tools and equipment and test equipment required to perform work operations. May troubleshoot electronically controlled systems, including VFD's and related devices. High school graduate or equivalent and trade or vocational school training. Four (4) years experience in industrial electrical construction and/or electrical maintenance work. Applies a working knowledge of applicable codes and ordinances. The individual filling this position must be able to read and understand wiring and circuit diagrams, instructions, and procedures. State certification highly desired.
