Main skills required include TIG welding, tube and pipe fitting, and sheet metal fabrication. Must be able to lay out, fabricate, weld and repair sheet metal parts, tubing, piping and more in both aluminum as well as stainless on high end automobiles.... Our product line includes complex exhaust systems, headers, turbo manifolds, complete turbo systems, etc. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: ? Must be very adept with tube and pipe fitting. ? Ability to TIG weld flawlessly, anything from 22ga sheet metal to SCH40 316L Stainless Pipe Fittings. Welds must be both structurally sound as well as cosmetically appealing. Not MIG, not stick, has to be TIG. ? Knowledge of cars and mechanical aptitude a big plus. ? Sets up and operates welding machines and fabricating machines such as sheers, brakes and presses to cut, bend, block, and form or straighten materials. ? Welds, solders, bolts, rivets, screws, clips, caulks, or bonds, component parts to assemble products. ? Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications. Repairs and maintains sheet metal products. ? Comfortable developing prototype tubular manifolds, exhaust systems, complex sheet metal parts and more. ? Comfortable building jigs and producing multiple, identical parts. ? Comfortable working on high dollar cars without doing any damage while working. ?
