Who We Are Looking For: Seeking qualified applicants who have a minimum of 48-months experience working in a manufacturing production environment; plus 36-months direct hands-on TIG experience welding precision sheet metal, and/or vacuum chambers, plus thin-wall, stainless steel tubing using turntables; preferably within a production machine-shop. Must have good to excellent blueprint and math (trig) skills, and able to accurately calculate measurements. Precision fabrication of vacuum chambers and vacuum components is critical to succeed in this position. Must be able to lift, carry or move 50 lbs on a frequent basis; up to 75 lbs on occasion; and occasionally over 75 lbs (with mechanical help). This position works on the welding shop floor 95% of the day, and 5% in the general manufacturing environment; also, this position requires walking and standing 2 to 4-hours per day. Position presently requires daily and weekly overtime as required, and 1st or 2nd shift. Starting wage depends on applicable experience level. Job Title: Maintenance Welder Company: Company Confidential Location: Pomona, CA Description: Welding carbon and stainless steel fork-lifts and maintenance. Equipment maintenance, five years of hands on maintenance, construction and repair experience required. Performs scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment, machinery, electrical systems and structures using blueprints, diagrams, manuals and written instructions while adhering to safety guidelines. Responsible for performing major Preventative Maintenance activities on the production lines according to the work orders generated with his/her name. Responsible for performing maintenance activities with co-workers. Practices company safety, quality policies and procedures, actively requires conformance. Responsible for working with the established GMP Procedures.
