Job Title: Welder/Fabricator Company: Location: San Antonio, TX Description: Fabrication Shop worker needed in Bulverde. Must know how to MIG weld on new material. Must know your way around a metal shop. This is not an entry-level position for which you will be given basic training. This is not a pure welding position. Worker must be willing to work on other projects such a fence building, painting, piping, etc. Almost all work is performed inside. Our facility in Bulverde is 15 miles North of Loop 1604 on Hwy 281. Please consider this in your decision to apply, as traffic can be an issue. Required Skills: Use of MIG Welders, Oxy Acc Cutting, Band Saw, Cold Saw, Plasma Cutting, Forklift, drill press. Candidate will be able to stand all day in a fabrication shop environment. Able to lift 75 lbs. No previous back, neck, or other problems that would affect your ability to work. Non-violent towards equipment. Works well with others. Problem solving abilities and good work ethics. Work safely around others., Able to build parts and assemblies utilizing drawings and sketches. Additional Desired Skills: Electronic / Mechanical Repair Tig / Stick Welding. Experience with hydraulics. Manual Mill / Lathe CNC machinery Non-smoker. Personal protective gear is the responsibility of the worker. (Gloves, hood, safety glasses). Must be able to pass background check. Clean driving record and ability to drive a standard "well" is required. Work hours are 8 hrs between 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday.
