Supervises Staff Assistants, Service Agents, Mechanics, Turnback/Prep Agents and/or Shuttlers. RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: % TIME 1. Plan and oversee the fleet maintenance processes, including accident and body shop repair, prepare, maintain and review various fleet and maintenance reports, and initiate action as required. 25% 3. Plan and oversee the in-fleeting of new vehicles and turn-back or sale of existing fleet vehicles, oversee mechanical and body repair processes of fleet vehicles, and inspect related supply inventory. 20% 3. Plan and oversee fleet turnaround and distribution processes, ensuring efficient utilization and vehicle maintenance quality, and manage the transportation of vehicles to and from ready lines, rental return area, maintenance garage and body shops. 20% 4 Evaluate body damage estimates and the AP process as it relates to maintenance and fleet functions, review, monitor and authorize invoices, manage cost controls and enhance vendor service. 10% 5. Develop, recommend and implement fleet and maintenance procedures to improve productivity and efficiency. 10% 6. Supervise, select, assign, schedule, train and evaluate subordinate personnel, recommend or initiate associated personnel actions and respond to employee relations issues. 10% 7. Administer and monitor adherence to federal and state safety programs, and oversee the maintenance of facility to ensure cleanliness and proper compliance with EPA regulations. 5% 8. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.
