The facilities are located on a 200 acre site in the hills above the UC Berkeley campus.The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to oversee shift operations as well as provide leadership and technical direction to the crafts in the Facilities Operations Department. Operations includes emergency response, corrective and preventive/predictive maintenance (P/PM) of building systems, equipment, and utility infrastructure. Planning and execution of maintenance tasks utilizes the Lab?s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), MAXIMO. The Maintenance Supervisor routinely interacts with customers, other supervisors, planners and schedulers. This position requires a change agent with working knowledge of LEAN/DMAIC methodologies. This position manages a work crew of approximately 12 personnel.
