Understanding of the fundamentals of heat transfer and combustion systems to maintain the efficient operation of the facility's powerhouse. Knowledgeable of EPA regulatory standards as they apply to powerhouse operations. Capable of operating and maintaining air compressors, compressed air systems, compressed air lubrication systems, and air driers and filtration systems. Capible of learning the operation of plant specific equipment, including nitrogen compressors, steam operated hydraulic pumps, factory water pumps, etc. Basic computer skills to enter and maintain test results and equipment operational data into spreadsheets and data collection systems.
