Our client is currently looking to hire a full time Senior Maintenance Manager for their distribution center facility. This person will be responsible for performing both maintenance duties and management duties. They must be a pro with performing electrical troubleshooting and repairs, PLC troubleshooting and repairs, and overseeing all maintenance duties/responsibilities for 2 buildings/plants and upwards of 20 people. This position will be 1st shift Monday-Friday. 50% of the job will involve being behind a desk handling all scheduling, performance managing from an analytical/statistical standpoint, prioritizing of work/repair orders, routine maintenance schedules, and overseeing the department from an intellectual/analytical point of view. The other 50% of the job will be hands-on, on the floor working with the other conveyor/maintenance mechanics. Candidates need to have experience supervising/managing others in addition to having the required maintenance knowledge. They must have strong experience troubleshooting controls/logic controls (PLC's). Candidates will be responsible for maintaining and following up on all preventative maintenance tasks, coordinating repairs and working with outside vendors, and making sure that the mechanics are getting into the root causes of mechanical issues so that the mechanics are not fixing the same issues time and time again. Candidates need to come from a Distribution Center environment, working with conveyors, logic controls, photo eyes, etc. All Maintenance Mechanics need to have the following experience: Preventative Maintenance, Repairs of Hydraulics/Pneumatics/Gear Boxes/Motors/Conveyors, Control Wiring, 3-Phase Motor repair, AC/DC controls, forklift repair and maintenance.
