Job Title: Maintenance Manager Company: Dairy Fresh Location: Hattiesburg, MS Description:                A leading food manufacturer in southern Mississippi area is seeking an energetic and experienced Maintenance Manager   Job Purpose:Directs and coordinates activities of maintenance workers engaged in service, repair and installation of machines, equipment, and maintenance of buildings and systems of facility.Duties:Review job orders to determine work priorities. Schedules service, repairs and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operation. Directs maintenance activities on utility systems. Knowledge of refrigeration, welding and electrical. Develops preventive maintenance program. Inspects plant after completed work for compliance to blueprints, specifications and standards. Orders tools, equipment and supplies and maintains appropriate inventory levels of materials and supplies. Inspects buildings, grounds and utility systems; advises management on structural changes and additions or modifications that are needed.  Will be the liaison with contractors, engineers and suppliers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, union contract, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.Skills/QualificationsFive to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Salary based on years of experience.
