Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Company: Location: Kansas City, KS Description: General Summary of Purpose Supervise maintenance technicians, provide direction and training. Ensure equipment is operating at maximum efficiency. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Oversee employees assigned to maintaining FabTech equipment for designated shifts, ensuring proper distribution based on manufacturing goals. This includes employees who perform the following tasks: mechanical, electrical, pipe-fitting, construction, calibration, preventative maintenance, and stocking spare parts storeroom. 2. Areas of responsibility include Epi, and Fab; 3. Oversee the total maintenance of all equipment. 4. Schedule all preventive and predictive maintenance. 5. Escalate issues which jeopardize safety or manufacturing goals. 6. Support activities in downtime reduction, MTBF (mean time between failure), MTTR (mean time to repair) and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency). 7. Play leading role in generating and executing cost reduction activities. 8. Interview potential new employees for suitability as FabTech employees. 9. Mentor leads and technicians and develop skill level. 10. Complete performance evaluations on all employees in area of responsibility. 11. Evaluate employees starting and stopping times, breaks, lunches, etc. Monitor and schedule vacation, holidays, sick time and overtime. Verify weekly time sheets and forward to payroll. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Education and Experience: Electronics degree, technical training, or equivalent experience. Supervisory experience required. Five years experience as a Maintenance Level 3 or similar type experience. Semi-conductor experience preferred. Other Qualifications and Requirements 1.
