Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor Company: Nature's Variety Location: Lincoln, NE Description: WORKING SANITATION SUPERVISOR (Night Shift) Growing meat processing facility in Lincoln, Nebraska needs a working sanitation supervisor to work with and oversee the evening sanitation team to ensure that equipment is being cleaned to the required sanitation levels while utilizing cleaning chemicals in a safe manner. Hours will be from approximately 8pm – 5am. Requirements: •Knowledge of facility standards of sanitation and cleaning procedures. •Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment, and mix cleaning solutions in proper proportions. •Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs. •Responsible for sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment and facilities. •Average reading ability in order to allow the correct identification of chemicals. •Knowledge of cleaning and safety procedures and OSHA requirements. •Ability to walk, stand, push, squat, bend, and climb stairs for the duration of the shift. •Familiar with applicable OSHA and GMP Food Safety Standards. •Responsible for maintaining health and safety standards within the department. •Ability to think logically and make decisions •Forklift experience helpful
