This position performs general and/or specialized maintenance work involving mowing, landscaping, irrigation and general maintenance of Town properties, parks, athletic fields, irrigation systems and related facilities. The Grounds Maintenance Worker also ensures that assigned equipment is in proper working order, inspected for damage and cleaned; and completes various forms, including activity logs.  The starting salary for this position is typically at the beginning of the range. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the maintenance of a variety of equipment and grounds systems; and will be safety-conscious and manage time wisely.
