Job Title: Vending Machine Technician - North Little Rock

We are looking for part-time merchandisers to participate in a program to service a high end kiosk/vending machine with cutting edge technology. These machines are state-of-the-art, and vend expensive products like MP3s, make-up, etc.  DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS OPENING IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS! THIS IS A PART TIME W2 employee position which requires the satisfactory completion of a background check covering criminal and driving records (paid for and conducted by Cast).  We also require proof of auto insurance coverage.  You would visit your assigned stores on Thursday to load product into the machine. Store call consists of picking up product at pre-designated UPS center, transporting product to machine, placing product in machine, processing returns via UPS center if necessary, cleaning machine, updating signage, and changing printer paper when necessary.   An unscheduled call could also occur to pick up a rush replenishment order to load into the machine. This position will also have an on call tech support element to it which we call FIRST LINE SERVICE (FLS). The volume of tech support work depends on service requests from the client. Currently these additional unscheduled calls are occurring only 1-2 times per month, however there is the potential for 1-3 service calls in one week.  First Line Service will include light technical work such as trouble shooting tech issues, maneuvering through the machine service menu and rebooting the machine when needed; these calls may also involve light mechanical repairs to the machine.  Additionally, twice per year the machine may receive a plan-o-gram upgrade which will involve mechanical skills and generally takes 3-4 hours to complete. This position requires a flexible schedule during the hours of 8am - 6:30pm 7 days a week and the ability to respond to a dispatch within a 4 hour window. Pay rate for a replenishment call is $13.50 per hr (takes about an hour to complete) and the pay rate for First Line Service calls is $15/hr.
