Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic - Food MFG Company: Executive Recruiting International Location: Carson, CA Description: Maintenance Mechanic - Food MFG MAJOR DUTIES: Perform moderate to complex adjustments, maintenance, & repairs to plant equipment such as bagging machines, wrapping equipment, ovens, packaging machines, etc. Install, adjust, & repair compressors and motors. Must know how to safely use machine shop tools such as drills, punches, calipers, micrometers, lathe, mill, etc. Requires welding skills & knowledge of OSHA standards involving welding & hot work permit. Must have own metric & standard tools including wrenches, sockets, allens, assorted screw drivers, clamps, snap ring pliers, volt meter, etc. Must be available to work any shift including weekends. Must be able to report to work to handle emergency repair work. Electrical training with 2 years experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Hig h school diploma or GED.
