Job Title: Electrician (Power System), BB-2810-00 Company: Interior, Bureau of Reclamation Location: Molina, CO Description: Embark on an exciting future!  Reclamation is seeking journeyman Electricians looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise in high-voltage electrical work and an opportunity to become an integral part of a team and grow in a hydropower environment.  These positions function as an Electrician (Power Systems) for a hydropower facility with numerous opportunities to expand your skills and gain extensive experience in the field.We offer an excellent benefit package including paid vacations and holidays, sick days, and other work-life programs.  This is a temporary (not-to-exceed 1 year), full time position assigned to the Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, Power Office, in the Curecanti Field Division, Power Facilities Group, Molina power plant in Molina, Colorado.Position responsibilities include performing a variety of journeyman level electrician duties for industrial facilities and equipment associated with dams, hydroelectric power plants and related facilities.   MOLINA, COLORADO: Work is performed at Molina Power Plants in Molina, Colorado, which is in the County of Mesa.  Evaluation is approximately 5,900 feet and the climate is desirable.  Areas within the commuting area include:  Collbran, Molina, Mesa, Palisade and Clifton.  These towns are relatively small communities located in an agricultural and ranching setting.  There are schools through the high school level and a medical clinic.  Post office and shopping facilities are available, along with churches of various denominations.  Grand Junction, Colorado, approximately 45 miles west of Molina, has a population of about 60,000.  The elevation is 4,587 feet.  There are good schools, including Mesa College, hospitals, shopping facilities and churches of various denominations.  The area is served by rail, bus and plane transportation.  The area enjoys moderate seasons with exceptionally good outdoor recreation facilities such as hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and winter sports.
