Job Title: Maintenance Worker Company: Location: Yampa, CO Description: DUTY STATEMENT:  Performs janitorial duties in visitor center and administrative offices, and also minor repairs to infrastructure such as minor repairs to infrastructure such as painting walls, performing basic carpentry tasks, apprentice-type plumbing and electrical repairs. Incumbent also performs grounds maintenance such as mixing cement/mortar, repairing rock walls and sidewalks, picking up litter, trimming trees and maintaining picnic areas and campgrounds. Subject to injury from hand and power tools. Working conditions may be dusty, cramped, damp, hot and unpleasant at times. Subject to cuts, burns, insect bites and possible broken bones. Physical Effort: Works from ladders, scaffolds and platforms and where surfaces to be coated, or the parts of systems worked on are hard to reach that require incumbent to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.  Frequently lifts, carries and sets up parts and equipment that weigh up to 40 pounds.
