Ideal candidate will perform necessary tasks to maintain the facility in a neat and attractive manner, as well as maintain the necessary equipment associated with these tasks. Checks maintenance book/work orders for special jobs that need to be completed same day. ? Performs preventative maintenance to keep the building and equipment in good working condition and documents work in the Preventative Maintenance Log. ? Cleans internal and external areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping and picking up trash from the community grounds on a daily basis. ? Assists with shampooing dining room, hallways and public area carpets as needed. ? Washes windows. ? Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup. ? Paints interior and exterior walls and trim. ? Repairs or replaces building brick, stone, and concrete. ? Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings. ? Assists other departments with moving furniture from rooms as needed to assist in preparing rooms for move-in. ? Serves as back-up employee for washing and detailing company vehicles on a weekly basis. ?
