Job Title: Lead Maintenance Mechanic Company: QVC, Inc. Under the general direction of the Operations Manager, resolves the most complex maintenance and emergency problems occurring within the site. ?     Acts as an active member of the maintenance team to ensure general building maintenance work is completed in an expedient, efficient and thorough manner.   ?     Resolves the most complex maintenance and emergency problems occurring within the site.    ?     Carries a pager during assigned hours to handle critical and /or urgent maintenance problems for the assigned site.   ?     Responds promptly to calls in accordance with departmental procedures as to the handling of specific problems.   ?     Documents all pager calls occurring outside of normal scheduled hours including length call, type of problem, and resolution.   ?     Oversees contractors to ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with established specifications.   ?     Mentors other Maintenance Mechanics at the site to provide back-up assistance as needed.  Develops the mechanics skill level by exposure to different types of problems and projects. ?     Ensures maintenance tools and equipment are kept in good repair and supply levels are adequate to meet construction and repair needs. ?     Ensures maintenance-related tasks are accomplished with minimal work disruption to the affected area.
