The plant has a number of programmable logic controllers to maintain and repair. Candidate may not have skills in all programming environments and languages but should possess the ability, aptitude and drive to troubleshooting these systems with a minimum of supervision so as to support manufacturing. Education and Work Experience: Industrial type work experience of at least 7-10 years. Candidate can substitute successful completion of a two (2) year college curriculum in technical areas (pre- engineering) AND/OR vocational school certificates of completion training in electronics, electrical, PLC or mechanical technical areas. Other vendor courses in machining, electricity, welding, microprocessor, electronics or instrument repair or air conditioning refrigeration are highly desirable and may be considered as experience. A wide exposure to various technical areas during past work experiences will be evaluated on an individual bases. Leadership Skills: Candidate must display safe work practices and demonstrate those behaviors on a consistent basis. Candidates must be able to present information to groups with confidence.
