Job Title: Robotic Welder Company: Aerotek Location: Tucson, AZ Description: Education and Experience Requirement High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience in similar function. Skills Required - Individual must be willing to make a commitment to take ownership of the area assigned - Possess the mechanical ability to use hand/power tools to set-up moderately complicated machines. - General knowledge to perform routine, extensive and preventative maintenance. - General welding knowledge to include what constitutes a good/bad weld plus spot welding knowledge - Basic computer skills. - Ability to read and understand blueprints. - Possess basic math skills including ability to read and use caliper, height gauge and micrometer to the fraction and decimal. Minimum Job Requirements - Physical- capable of lifting 50 lbs. safely. Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor. - Working Hours- full time (40 hrs/week) employment Personal Traits- Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude- Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to follow direction and or work independently- Able to multi-task and trouble shoot Punctuality and safe work habits. Level of Responsibility and Authority - Timely completion of job functions. Adhere to AS9100 quality systems. Job Functions Proactively initiate preventative action to prevent out of specification components and or machine failure. In the event the machine stops producing acceptable components possess strong analytical skills to be able to diagnose and adjust/repair the machine(s) and or die set. - Make suggestions to improve the efficiency of the area of responsibility. - Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures. - Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done. - Effectively use calipers, machinist square, dial indicator, feeler gauges to assure components meet the blue print specifications - Complete task independently from job-list including; following the production schedule, set-up, write and edit programs. - Ensure AS9100 quality system procedures are followed. - Ensure output meets required deadlines while executing above. - Ensure cross departmental communication is accurate and effective. - Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures per AS9100 procedures. - Follow and execute instructions on process sheets and control plan per AS9100 procedures. - Audit of finished parts, before delivery to QA department for final inspection. - Responsible for accurate physical inventories - Communicate with supervision clearly and accurately - Maintain neat and clean work area. - Other ad hoc duties as assigned.Required Skills:read and understand blueprints, basic math skills, ability to read and use caliper, ability to use height gauge and micrometer to the fraction and decimalJoin Aerotek Commercial StaffingSM.
