Oversee building-related activities to ensure that the facilities and grounds are safe, up to code, and fully operational in a cost effective way.
Prepare budgets and reports for the planning of maintenance, repairs, installation, and renovation of the building, systems, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and record keeping.
Support safety, health, and emergency preparedness programs.
Negotiate quotes for goods and services to maximize cost-effectiveness and monitor activities of vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure that delivery, quantity, and quality criteria are met.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related disciplines.
Facilities Management Certificate – FMC.
3 + years of experience in facilities management position.
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent project management skills.
