Lead Facility Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
This position involves working on the 2nd or 3rd shift (2:30 PM - 11:30 PM or 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM), Tuesday through Saturday, at an automotive company's facility. The main responsibility will be troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on the facility's electrical systems. The equipment includes exhaust fans, ventilation equipment, motors, pumps, coils, filters, condensers, fluid/tank farm, actuating valves, dock levers and doors, dock heaters, and large rooftop units (100,000 BTU). The role also involves programming VAV (variable air volume) units, handling pending work orders, and performing a variety of other facilities projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
+ Work on equipment such as exhaust fans, ventilation equipment, motors, pumps, coils, filters, condensers, fluid/tank farm, actuating valves, dock levers and doors, dock heaters, and large rooftop units.
+ Program VAV (variable air volume) units.
+ Handle pending work orders and accomplish scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
+ Perform other facilities projects including painting, plumbing, working on the building's exterior and parking lot, assisting electricians, and assisting pipe fitters.
**Essential Skills**
+ 4 years of electrical troubleshooting and repair in an industrial or commercial environment.
+ 4 years of facilities maintenance experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
+ Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
+ Willingness to perform a variety of tasks.

Comfort with heights is necessary as tasks may involve using ladders, scissor lifts, climbing stairs, and working on rooftop units. The physical demands include standing, using hands, talking, hearing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, and lifting/moving heavy objects.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
