Overview**
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to address tenant reactive / requested repairs and services and basic preventative maintenance work orders, while maintaining a safe environment for building occupants.
Pay: $18.50/hour

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
**Electrical**
+ Walk facility and replace lightbulbs and ceiling tilesasneeded.
+ Report light ballast issues to engineering.
+ Troubleshoot appliances and other equipment.
**Plumbing**
+ Unclog drains with plunger or drain snake.
+ Locate and close isolation valves for emergencies.
**Carpentry and Locks**
+ Install shelves, soap dispensers, and other fixtures.
+ Perform simple woodworking repairs.
+ Hang clocks, pictures bulletin boards, coat hooks, etc.
**Miscellaneous**
+ Knowledge of computers, work order systems, and ability to read reports.
+ Be able to communicate and respond to tenant requests as instructed.
+ Complete assigned maintenance work orders in accordance to customer and management timelines and expectations.
+ Ability to lift 50lbs, climb on ladders and work in confined spaces.
+ Musthave the ability tocomplete required safetyclassesthatpertain tospecific jobduties.
+ Mayperformotherdutiesasassigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older ****
+ 1+ year of experience in related role
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Customer Service experience preferred
