NOW HIRING: Maintenance Mechanic / Technician Location: Zeochem - 1360 S. 12 th Street, Louisville, KY 24/7 Chemical Manufacturing Facility **This is a night shift position, working 6pm-6am** 12-Hour Shifts | Bi-weekly 36/48 Hour Schedule | Weekend and Night Shifts Required Pay based on experience; plus $1.10 Night Shift Differential paid for night shift roles Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting? Zeochem is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic [Technician] to join our team at our 24/7 chemical manufacturing site. In this role, you'll keep our operation running smoothly by repairing and maintaining the equipment essential to producing our high-quality Molecular Sieves. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment Perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks Use hand tools and basic electrical equipment for repairs and installations Complete work orders, update CMMS records, and communicate shift-to-shift status updates Perform welding and fabrication for equipment installations and repairs Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements, reporting unsafe conditions proactively Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to support a reliable, safe manufacturing process What You Bring High school diploma or GED required Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in chemical manufacturing (or equivalent), strongly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools, equipment, and basic electrical systems Ability to read and write in English to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and complete documentation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in physically demanding environments, and climb stairs and ladders Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and mandatory overtime Work Environment You'll work around moving mechanical parts, heat, and occasionally at heights or with hazardous materials.
