Performs worked related to the general building and grounds maintenance of the county parks as well as assists with the groundskeeping maintenance for county buildings.
- Operates lawn care equipment including and not limited to leaf blowers, lawn trimmers, weed cutters, and machines designed to cut grass and weeds
- Performs inspection and cleaning of campsites, trails and buildings/park restrooms
- Ensures parks and campsites are properly stocked with necessary items for stay
- Checks in and collects fees for stay from campers
- Provides general customer service to campers and visitors of Jackson County parks/trails/etc.
- Performs Other Related Functions as Apparent or Assigned.
- Ability to work independently and take direction from others.
- Operation and use of building, grounds and custodial equipment.
- Operation and use of power tools, hand tools and light power equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Create a positive work environment of equity and inclusion.
