Position Summary :

As a member of the BI Team, the Facilities Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all our center-based locations and home office. They are responsible for overseeing general upkeep, coordinating with vendors for specialized services, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations across multiple states. This role is essential for maintaining a conducive environment for our operations, staff, and clients.

What You'll Do :

  • General Maintenance: Perform regular facility inspections and address maintenance needs, including repairs to fixtures, equipment, and structural components.

  • Vendor Management: Oversee third-party vendors for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting, and janitorial services, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage maintenance and repair budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure facilities comply with all safety regulations and standards; conduct routine assessments and implement corrective measures as needed.

  • Emergency Preparedness: Create and implement emergency response plans, including procedures for evacuations and natural disasters.

  • Staff Training: Train staff on safety protocols, equipment use, and emergency procedures.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records of maintenance activities, contracts, and spending; generate reports for leadership as needed.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices for operational efficiency and cost savings in facility management.

  • Risk Mitigation: Assess risks in site improvement projects and proactively develop mitigation strategies.

  • Project Planning: Create and manage quarterly and annual project plans; prioritize initiatives and allocate resources accordingly.

  • Project Execution: Ensure site improvement projects stay on schedule; identify and resolve delays or obstacles promptly.

  • Budget Management: Monitor and control project expenses to stay within approved limits while maintaining quality and safety.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders via meetings, reports, and other communication channels.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Maintain strong communication with both internal teams and external vendors.

  • Multi-Project Management: Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Travel: Willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time.

  • Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in facilities management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
