Maintenance Mechanic
Responsible for thepletion of all maintenance activities in the Canning Room area.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior mechanics in thepletion of all assigned phases of mechanical work.
Keep records up to date.
Troubleshoot machines or equipment to detect malfunctions.
Assist in the installation of machines and equipment.
Perform routine maintenance work.
Cut, form, and assemble parts to construct machinery and equipment.
Repair machine guarding.
Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
Oil and grease equipment as needed.
Make adjustments/repairs to conveyors and piping.
May be required to run production equipment to relieve other personnel for breaks or fill in as needed.
Observe all Company work, safety and GMP policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
Candidate should have basic mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read, write, andprehend instructions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to drive forklift orplete Seneca Foods Forklift training.
Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Requires between three (3) months and one (1) year of experience.
Competitive pay and full benefits
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
