SUMMARY OF FUNCTION

Provides maintenance support for client as assigned, to include repairs to equipment and furniture, inspections, moving of furniture, door lock and key maintenance, and related activities.

ORGANIZATIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Demonstrates sound business ethics including, but not limited to those outlined by Model of Leadership and Service, Strategic Plan, policies and regulations. Maintains confidentiality where appropriate.

2. Assures and monitors compliance with all internal and external agencies to include all functions that attain and maintain accreditation and compliance with regulatory agencies.

JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties:

1. Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.

2. Performs monthly safety inspections to include fire extinguishers in homes and buildings.

3. Performs monthly filter changes in homes and buildings.

4. Assists with collateral tasks such as shampooing carpets, and snow removal from entrances and sidewalks, on an as-needed basis.

5. Assists with small appliance repair, to include small hand tools and equipment.

6. Assists with minor electrical repairs, soldering, and small welding tasks, as required.

7. Assists in the assembly of picture frames, office furniture, etc., and the moving of furniture, as needed.

8. Processes and completes all work orders as assigned.

9. Exhibits appropriate interaction with residents.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

1. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.

2. Experience in maintenance operations is preferred.

3. Proficiency in general maintenance repair equipment operation is preferred.

4. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.

5. Must be at least 21 years of age.

6. Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing

7. Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.

8. Must be available for travel as needed.
