Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

A leading food manufacturing company committed to quality, safety, and innovation. We’re looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Mechanic to join our 2nd shift maintenance team and help keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. As an Electrical Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repairs on production equipment and systems. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring minimal downtime and compliance with food safety standards.

salary: $30 - $38 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical components such as motors, sensors, relays, PLCs, circuit breakers, and control panels.
  
  
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF, etc.).
  
  
• Conduct inspections and testing using multimeters, wiring diagrams, and schematics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  
  
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure efficient equipment operation during 2nd shift hours.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment status, and parts inventory.
  
  
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades to electrical systems.
  
  
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support as needed.
