About the Role:** Adecco is currently seeking a skilled **Welder** to support our client's Maintenance team at the **North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM)** the largest surface coal mine in the U.S., located in **Wright, Wyoming** . The selected candidate will be responsible for performing **preventative and breakdown maintenance welding** on heavy equipment in an open-cut mining environment. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. **Key Responsibilities:** + Support and embody the company's safety-first culture and core values + Perform inspections to identify hazards or equipment issues + Review technical drawings/specifications to plan welding tasks + Diagnose mechanical faults and breakdowns + Estimate time and material requirements for repairs + Complete component changeouts and necessary repairs + Maintain tools and a clean, safe work area + Mentor apprentices or less experienced team members as needed + Ensure all work aligns with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements + Perform additional duties as assigned **Work Schedule & Benefits:** + This position may require weekend, holiday, or shift work + Competitive benefits starting on **Day 1** , including: + 401(k) with company match + Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans with low employee cost **Qualifications & Experience:** + Heavy equipment welding experience in mining or construction + OR 2 years of relevant experience plus completion of a 1-year welding/mechanical vo-tech program + Willingness to work in various weather and time conditions + Ability to work overtime as needed + Strong training and communication skills are a plus **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods (up to 4 hours) + Comfortable working at heights and climbing on/off machinery + Ability to lift 10-50 lbs frequently without assistance + Must be able to wear required PPE and perform repetitive motions + Work in varying environmental conditions (dust, noise, weather, confined spaces) + Flexibility for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays If you're ready to join a team focused on safety, skill, and stability **apply today with Adecco** to be considered for this exciting opportunity! **Pay Details:** $30.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
