Asphalt Plant Mechanic

Asphalt Plant MechanicEureka Stone Quarry is looking for an experienced Asphalt Plant Mechanic with five years of experience for all our asphalt plant locations.The Asphalt Plant Mechanic will be responsible to safely repair all asphalt plant equipment. The Asphalt Plant Mechanic must possess critical thinking, communication, ability to learn, and commitment to safety. You must possess mechanical, fabrication skills, and equipment operation experience. Asphalt Plant Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities Daily inspections of plant equipment Perform general preventive maintenance on all asphalt systems Observe equipment operation to detect potential problems Repair all asphalt plant systems Maintain plant lubrication schedule Provide solutions to improve plant reliability, performance, and safety Fabricate and weld plant component parts as needed Operate heavy equipment as needed to perform necessary tasks Qualifications and Requirements Must have 5 years of experience as an Asphalt Plant Mechanic Skilled in Cutting with Oxy-acetylene torch and welding fabrication experience Be able to lift 50 pounds or more daily Must be able to climb, twist, bend and kneel Valid Driver's license You will be provided a company vehicle for transportation to our Asphalt Plant locations.This is a full-time position with the starting rate of $26.50 and up based on experience.
