2nd Shift Maintenance Lead Shift: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm Department: Machining and Assembly Maintenance Reports To: Maintenance Manager Role Overview As the 2nd Shift Maintenance Lead, you will be the cornerstone of our machining and assembly maintenance operations during the critical evening hours. In this role, your expertise will ensure that our equipmentfrom CNC machines to die casting systemsoperates efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Lead and mentor maintenance personnel on the second shift to ensure high performance, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication across departments. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues involving electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation processes. Your troubleshooting skills will be critical to minimizing downtime and maintaining optimal production levels. Equipment Oversight: Manage maintenance tasks for a variety of machinery, including CNC machining equipment, die casting machinery, and complex automation systems. Ensure that all preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed with precision. Blueprint & Systems Analysis: Utilize strong blueprint reading and technical interpretation skills to understand machinery schematics and guide the repair process effectively. Process Improvement: Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement strategies that enhance equipment reliability and streamline maintenance procedures. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with production and engineering teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring seamless production flows and quick turnaround on repairs. Required Expertise and Qualifications Electrical and Troubleshooting Expertise: Expert-level skill in electrical maintenance, including PLC troubleshootingpreferably with experience using Siemens PLC systems. Mechanical Proficiency: Extensive experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, machining operations, CNC machinery, and die casting processes. Blueprint Accuracy: Strong capability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams, ensuring accurate maintenance and repair execution. Supervisory and Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team, manage complex projects, and handle the dynamic demands of a 2nd shift environment. Additional Expertise: A background in machining maintenance, assembly maintenance, and die cast maintenance is highly desirable. Why Join Us?
