Maintenance Technician / Painter - PRN

Schedule: PRN Shift : Days The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Carrollwood Family-like culture Teamwork driven both inter Dept and multidisciplinary Positive working climate to support a well-balanced work life balance The role you'll contribute: Applies paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property. Prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishing materials. Provides on the job skills training. Assists other trades as needed. The value you'll bring to the team: Replace sheetrock, tape and float, paint all interior and exterior surfaces, and do minor carpenter work Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, furniture, equipment and other property. Maintains existing paint surfaces by matching/tinting appropriate paint products Properly stores, cleans and disposes of all supplies and equipment used per departmental policies and procedures. May assist in operation and general maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems. Assist in essential repairs and other duties as carried out. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and physical structures as scheduled or needed under limited guidance.
