Maintenance Mechanic

Randstad is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our client's building systems and equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of areas, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a understanding of general maintenance practices.

salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, machinery, and building systems in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• Perform general building repairs, which may include carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and flooring maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and management promptly and professionally.
• Install new equipment or fixtures as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and request new supplies as needed.
• Assist with grounds maintenance tasks as required, such as minor landscaping or snow removal preparation.
• Coordinate with and oversee external contractors for specialized repairs or projects when necessary.
