2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join their manufacturing team. In this critical role, you’ll maintain and troubleshoot pressurized gas and aerosol equipment including pumps, pressure valves, motors, conveyor systems, and compressors. Your efforts will help ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production operations. This is a Monday - Thursday, 2nd shift position that will train on 1st shift. salary: $58,240 - $62,400 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 4 PM - 3 AM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Set up packaging and filling equipment according to product specs
  
  
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make immediate repairs to reduce downtime
  
  
• Perform preventative maintenance to maintain reliability
  
  
• Identify and resolve recurring issues on filling and packaging lines
  
  
• Maintain accurate downtime and maintenance logs
  
  
• Submit daily and weekly reports to the Plant Manager
  
  
• Ensure a safe work environment and follow SDS safety procedures
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time
