We are seeking a reliable and experienced **Maintenance Mechanic** to join our growing operations and keep our equipment running at peak performance.**Position Summary**The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of construction equipment, vehicles / trucks, trailers, and turf machinery. This role ensures equipment is safe, operational, and available to meet project demands across various sites.**Key Responsibilities**- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on trucks, trailers, tractors, compactors, and turf installation equipment.- Diagnose mechanical issues and execute timely repairs (hydraulic, electrical, diesel/gasoline engines).- Maintain detailed maintenance records and track service intervals.- Coordinate to schedule equipment servicing without disrupting jobsite activity.- Troubleshoot breakdowns in the field and perform on-site repairs when necessary.- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.- Maintain shop cleanliness, inventory of parts, and tool organization.- Assist in equipment transport and staging for job sites as needed.**Requirements**- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred.- 3 years of experience in equipment or heavy machinery repair (construction or agricultural industry preferred).- Knowledge of maintenance repairs, such as brakes, lights, and trailer maintenance.- Knowledge of diesel/gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.- Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.- Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Able to work independently and respond quickly to job-site issues.** **** ****Physical Requirements**- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.- Work in outdoor environments and field conditions.- Stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.**Benefits**- Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)- Opportunities for advancement and year-round work- Tools and PPE provided**To Apply:**Please submit your resume and references to [...].
