Landscape Project maintenance manager

Job description

We are looking for a reliable person to oversee all installation, and garden maintenance projects. A great candidate will have a solid understanding of Plant Knowledge as well as estimating for installation jobs, including drainage, irrigation and hardscape.

The ideal candidate will have aptitude in undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting etc. The goal is to ensure the companies projects are on track, in budget and implemented correctly.

Must be proficient in both Word and Excel and be use to working with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out inspections of the jobs to identify and resolve issues
• Check installation plans to ensure correct installation
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Allocate workload and supervise
• Sourcing and placing orders when necessary
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for jobs
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
• Estimating jobs

Skills

• Proven experience of at least 5 years
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Solid understanding of technical aspects of full installations for hardscape and plants including trees.
• Working knowledge of garden machines and equipment
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Spanish speaking a plus

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
