Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic Job Description Join a dynamic team to work on brand new Boeing 737 BBJ's and Airbus A220 ACJ's directly from the factory. As an Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing sheet metal assembly, installations, and modifications on these advanced aircraft. Responsibilities Perform sheet metal assembly, installations, and modifications on aircraft. Read and interpret engineering drawings to accurately complete tasks. Utilize personal tools that are etched and inventoried for precise work. Commit to working 5+ hours of overtime weekly when required. Adapt to working on both 1st and 2nd shift schedules. Essential Skills 3-5+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures. Proven experience in sheet metal assembly, installation, and modification. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience with Boeing and Airbus aircraft is preferred. Possession of personal tools that are etched and inventoried. Additional Skills & Qualifications Open to any aircraft sheet metal experience including commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets. Familiarity with hand and power tools used in sheet metal work. Why Work Here? Experience working with corporate and commercial jets in a P145 repair station. Work Environment Work in a hangar/outside environment with the flexibility of 1st and 2nd shift schedules. The majority of candidates will be working on the 2nd shift. Shifts include Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm or 3pm to 11:30pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, Delaware. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
