Title: Maintenance Supervisor The Maintenance Supervisor provides technical, process and people leadership for assigned shift or platform and directs reactive, corrective, and planned maintenance activities in coordination with the site strategy. This role is a key leader in the utilization of the Asset Optimization elements, specifically Planning and Scheduling, Defect Elimination, and Breakdown Elimination. The Supervisor assists the Maintenance Leadership team to identify and eliminate top losses across the site. The Maintenance Supervisor has accountability for production throughput, downtime, OEE, and cost attainment on their assigned shift in partnership with Production Supervision. Pay rate: $40.00 hr. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have knowledge and skills in the technologies of fasteners, lubrication, mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, electrical power systems, electrical control systems, production/process, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and computerized maintenance management systems. Working knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred. Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferred. Must have previous supervisor experience. Basic PC skills including expertise with MS Office and Outlook. SAP experiences beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have basic mathematical and problem-solving skills to generate and maintain departmental reports. May be required to be clean shaven if trained in the use of and required to use a respirator. Must be capable and willing to work any shift and be on 24-hour call for emergency situations, as necessary.
