Maintenance Mechanic

Job Opportunity: Maintenance Mechanic
Salary: $63,000-$70,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What You&ll Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, engines, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical malfunctions using testing instruments and visual inspections
• Dismantle and repair defective machinery using cranes, hoists, hand and power tools
• Read and follow technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
• Adjust and install parts and control instruments to maintain production standards
• Perform repairs on EOATs (End of Arm Tooling) and molding machines
• Install wiring, copper and PVC piping, and electrical conduit
• Measure, calibrate, and test machinery to maintain optimal performance
• Record and report maintenance activities and trends
• Communicate effectively with service technicians and internal teams

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
• Experience with injection molding machinery is preferred
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
• Proficiency with voltage/ohm meters and micrometers
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and inventory systems

Ideal Candidate Traits:

• Strong background in electrical systems and/or robotics (especially robotic arms)
• Previous experience in injection molding environments
• Practical and versatile problem-solver with mechanical aptitude
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
