Maintenance Mechanic Job Description The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment within an aerospace and defense facility. The role includes maintaining CNC machines and potentially performing facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and HVAC. This position offers an opportunity to progress into a lead role. Responsibilities Conduct preventative maintenance on various equipment throughout the aerospace and defense facility. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines. Execute facilities maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, and HVAC duties as needed. Engage in reactive maintenance activities as required. Ensure electrical maintenance and troubleshooting are effectively carried out. Essential Skills Experience in CNC maintenance and troubleshooting. Proficiency in preventative and reactive maintenance. Strong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Ability to perform equipment and facilities maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in aerospace manufacturing. Knowledge of facilities maintenance processes.
