Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance HVAC Technician - $34 to $39 hour - 1st shift 7am to 3:30pm Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities. Responsibilities Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance. Respond to breakdowns promptly. Diagnose faults and repair equipment. Supervise engineering and technical staff. Obtain specialist components, fixtures, or fittings. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation. Create and implement maintenance procedures. Manage stocks of supplies and equipment. Write programs to support maintenance operations. Assist maintenance teams in creating preventive maintenance plans. Essential Skills Electrical troubleshooting and repair. Mechanical and hydraulic expertise. Pneumatics and facility maintenance knowledge. Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in rigging and instrumentation. Work Environment The role is based on-site and involves both outdoor reactive maintenance and indoor preventive maintenance and repairs. The working hours are from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with occasional schedule adjustments for vacation coverage or pressing projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
