Assistant Chief Facilities Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Assistant Chief Facilities Engineer ready to lead by example, drive performance, and keep a high-profilemercial facility running smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role w your technical skills and mentorship will directly shape the success of the maintenance team.

What You'll Tackle:

Partner with the Chief Engineer to manage contractors, oversee preventative maintenance, and guide the day-to-day operations of all building systems

Lead and train engineering staff, elevating team capabilities and safety standards

Respond to emergencies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal building performance

Maintain the CMMS system and handle tenant service requests efficiently

Jump into general maintenance as neededHVAC, plumbing, lighting, furniture repairs, painting, and more

Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are followed to the letter

Provide clear, professionalmunication with building occupants and clients

What You Bring:

3-5 years of experience inmercial facilities maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general trades)

Proven leadership or supervisory background

Trade school, union training, military service, or equivalent experience preferred

EPA Universal CFC Certification or willingness to obtain (we'll help)

Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform hands-on work in active environments

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Strongmunication,anizational, and customer service skills

Pay Details: $42.00 per hour
