Maintenance Mechanic

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic $25-$34/hr : Rogers, MN Job Description We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with excellent attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will have a background in repairing manufacturing machinery. Responsibilities Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls. Troubleshoot problems using schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase. Remove and replace defective parts from equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools. Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs. Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed. Keep company tools put away and in working order. Fabricate repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. using shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc. Essential Skills Repair Troubleshooting Electrical Hydraulics and Pneumatics Preventive maintenance Electrical Schematic Mechanical Blueprints Additional Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance experience on equipment Work Environment The work environment involves the use of shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, torches, and grinders. Employees are expected to maintain tools in working order and will have the opportunity to work overtime hours.
