Maintenance Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensuring that machinery and equipment (LRT, Pick and Place, Tape and Reel, Lead Attach etc....) run optimally with minimal downtime. Conducting and overseeing maintenance process. Conducting inspections. Creating maintenance procedures. Making detailed reports about the maintenance and repairs completed. Managing stocks of supplies and equipment. Troubleshooting and Repairing (Diagnosing Faults, Repairing machinery and equipment and testing repairs). Preventative Maintenance (Developing maintenance programs and following established maintenance procedures). Establishing different maintenance procedures and protocols. Training staff on equipment operating and maintenance procedures Responding to major / emergency equipment breakdowns. Testing machinery and equipment for performance and compliance with safety regulations. Procuring, testing, and commissioning specialist components, fixtures, or fittings. Communicating with other departments to ensure the maintenance activities are coordinated effectively. Providing technical support to other departments, helping them understand equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Playing an active role in set up and execute preventive maintenance , predictive maintenance , or any other preferred maintenance program (AI Powered Maintenance - CMMS). Playing an active role Setting and tracking maintenance KPIs . Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering (or Engineering Technology) field 5+ OR Years experience in Maintenance. Knowledge and experience in manufacturing. Understanding of machine design, simple electrical design, and common manufacturing practices. Good knowledge across software, controls, robotics, mechanical and electrical engineering. Familiarity with Robot Hot Soldering Dip Familiar with CAD software. Strong interpersonal skills capable of working among many disciplines.
