Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the operations team supporting the overall efficiency and functionality of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Pennsauken, New Jersey

Pay Range: $30 - $38 per hour

What's the Job?

• Ensure operation and limit downtime of equipment by performing inspections, documenting issues, creating parts lists and work-orders, and performing tasks to eliminate noted issues.
• Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns in a timely fashion and with professionalism.
• Generate parts requests for emergency repairs and inventory requirements.
• Modify equipment towards a goal of better efficiencies or to minimize breakdowns.
• Practice lock out/tag out safety procedures and utilize PPE.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance or relevant technical services.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems such as hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and other drive train components.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose minor electrical control systems to prevent, repair, and eliminate equipment failures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Ability to work closely with and engage with a team.
