Journeyman Transportation & I.C. Maintenance Mechanic

At Otter Tail Power, our employees help us serve the communities we support by producing reliable, affordable, and environmentally responsible electricity. In this role, the Transportation Mechanic will support OTP operations by maintaining transportation vehicles.

• Inspect and perform regular and preventative maintenance on wide variety of transportation vehicles including digger derricks, aerial basket trucks, trenchers and related equipment and power plants.
• May assume full responsibility for emergency repairs in the absence of Foreman or Supervisor and direct work of others in such situations.
• This role will require travel within Otter Tail Power's service territory to perform the work for on-site equipment or vehicles.

• High School education or equivalent and two years of technical training or equivalent experience in hydraulic systems or heavy-duty truck chassis, drive trains and related systems.
• Able to maintain a Class "A" CDL and I.C.C. health card.

• The expected base compensation for this role is $72,000 - $105,000. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
