Maintenance Worker 1 Grounds/Maintenance Repairer

9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Job Description:

• Operation and maintenance of a variety of hand, power and shop tools used in a variety of trade areas
• Performing general maintenance work, individually or as a member of a crew, in various areas
• Maintaining a variety of landscaped areas
• Performs painting of interior and exterior building surfaces, as well as parking lots, utilizing brushes , rollers, mechanical paint machines
• Perform maintenance of parking lots, including crack fill and repair, seal coating, and pothole repair
• Safely operating construction equipment and vehicles
• Making accurate arithmetic calculations
• Reading and interpreting plans, maps and instructions
• Understanding and following oral and written directions
• Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those encountered in the course of the work

Requirements:

• Valid NJ Driver's license

• Valid CDL License preferred
